I used this sometime ago in a 5 speed Honda car gearbox. As the owner before me had damaged both 1st and 3rd synchomesh it was crashing each time unless really easily put into that gear. So I treated this 12 year old gearbox with it and within 500 kms it was smoother, quieter cooler,, and allowed the system to not be blown apart with damage...for the next 5 years...I reckon it saved me over $500 for a new hardware kit of gearbox. So I do truly suggest that this product is used by all
Thanks
Will.
I first used this in 1981 on my FJ 40 recon motor and when I had a bad accident in 1987 in the N.T. I bought my car back from the insurance com and ran the motor for another 7 years and when the car died I pulled the motor out after 315,000 klm and stripped it down and what a big surprise, no ring lip in the bores and all white metal still on the mains and the mecanic could not believe it also ran in trans and and both diffs and sold them as near new, and have used in every car truck and 4x4 since and never had trouble.
Older 4cyl car, with 200,000 klms, quickly noticed significant improvement in motor, significant improvement in RPM's, idling, motor running so quiet, can hardly hear it,significant improvement over" just an oil change" motor is definately considerably more responsive, did a lot of reaserch prior to purchase, will be using again. Hope this helps.
PS.Follow instructions.my understanding is 3.8 litres oil + 380 mils slick 50 total = 4.2 litres.
I first used Slick 50 almost 20 years ago, on my Isuzu utility extending its life by years. When i retired the old girl the engine was still the best part of a very reliable vehicle. I used slick 50 also in my 8 tonne farm tip truck & 100HP John Deere 1975 tracter whitch i still have and never uses any oil. When i used slick 50 it was because of some oil loss. In the case of the ute & truck oil use ceased at around 1000km , the tracter has never used oil and has clocked up over 10,000 hours. I am about to use slick 50 in my 1997 Holden Statesman as she has just done 303,000 km.
