I just purchased one of these units . fitting was as simple as with only three wires in total red to ignition fuse, black to earth and white to the vss wire. in this case a 1998 commodore checking the wiring diagram in the manual . (violet with white trace) simple as. but then came the setup speed match, driving out the drive doing less then 20ks the first reading on the unit was 55ks driving down the street speedo reading 45ks unit reading 125ks so back to the instructions. after many short trips I managed to find a setting that was close to matching the speedo reading as I could get. with speedo at 20Ks unit at 22, speedo at 30Ks unit at 29ks speedo at 50Ks unit also 50ks. close enough. with a trip of 800ks this weekend on the highway I will see if the unit stays. stay tuned ..
